Your Dream Garage..
« on: May 09, 2005, 07:41:14 AM »
So in your lifetime what realistically will be in your garage. 5 cars any make any model, any specs but has to be within a reasonable budget.(But really anything is attainable..) Also daily drivers are not included since if you get bored you can change them up every year.
So mine... I'm  already close to it!
1930 Model A Cabriolet(one of how many!?) Great racer!
1962 restored Seabert(one day.. two tone paint)
1966 21 window deluxe bus ragtop(summer surfbus!)
1973 Super beetle(german look Big t4 powerplant, Porsche alloys, disc brakes, big fun!)
1975 Bmw M2002(e30 M3 engine mod 200NA hp)
That is all...
Whats yours?

If more power is better. Then too much is just enough.
Why do it once when you can do it thrice?

Forgot to mention... For a daily beater I'd have either a 70's westy or a Bmw E28 M535I

Really? A kombi over the usual BD 23 Deluxe?

But, good choice for the split.  52 Bumper Overriders are sexy.  (I'm looking for a set btw, if anyone has some lying around).

You could always ask for a airconditioned bus Silas instead of the wiener car..

Airconditioned bus-50 passenger chauffered wagon......translink,
Actually with the way gas prices are going and the fact that anything I own doesn't have AC its starting to sound good....
I just burned myself...  :o

ya but we were talking about weiners, not air-conditioning. :P

but i'm picking up what you're throwing down. my bus has air-con. 20 sliding windows on either side and a door that opens every 2 minutes to allow the skanky air out and the fresh air in.

And it doesn't have ac and the doors only open every 15....

Hi. My picks would be...

-Karmann Ghia any year.

-'73 Super Beetle convertible

-  '69  A transporter van that was fully camperized

- '05 -a new bettle

-a type 3 '71 fastback

yeah, and if I am allowed an alternate, one of the new eurovans that vw is working on. they are cool.

Though that didn't even occur to me, all of the GT's are the best games ever.  Many wasted weeks or months invested in those games.
Still haven't checked out 4 yet though. I heard there's an early beetle.
I know GTA3-SA has the old buses,a buggy, and a rail (the car ;) ) though.

I forgot to add the best car of all time though:
'76 (i think) Oldsmobile Toronado. 455 ci's and front wheel drive. [_[

Okay maybe not.
67 Sunroof Beetle
