Quick Shift Kit

Any have a 40% shorter throw quick shift?  I want to be able to slam it from 2nd to 3rd without knocking it to the side and up.  It will be on a 60s ghia shifter in my bug.

I've had them, they do what they are intended to do. I've seen two types, ones plastic and one is metal, I had the metal one.

Why not just throw an aftermarket shifter in, they for the most part will reduce your throw. I run a Scat drag fast and love it.

Gene Berg is the only way to go, well ......not the only way, but the way i think is the only way. they also offer more styles to choose from. but $$$

Yup !!  Berg!!!!!  probably in 9 out of 10 cars that race regularly.
I think there may only be two kinds of people in the world.....
those that have a berg shifter and those that wish they had a berg shifter ;)

I've got the metal one in my 69 Ghia with a stock lever. Installed it, then road tested it all the way to California and back. No problems; works great. You can, however, see the aluminum base plate.
