Yes but the sides will pull - get some of those new smart car tires, there pretty low pro...

Here's the deal.......I have 5.5\" rims, and I have 145 tires. If I can make them fit I will use them, but I'm not buying tires cause I may not like the look of the wheels on the car.

People put 135's on 5.5 empi 5 spokes all the time. Like James said watch out for curbs.

they'll fit, don't worry, probably won't fall off unless you're doing a lot of very heavy cornering
even then it's not common
just try and stay away from poor quality tires

i had a set of 145's on a 6inch fuch they fit ok but the sides did pull a bit like james said
