Oil Leak @#%^$&^$
« on: November 05, 2005, 05:28:59 PM »

well I cleaned the engine and ran it . then I parked it and went under with a light. Looking under it at the back center of the block aprox 1\" toward the front there is one drip which I woud think is from the oil pump. right?

I also saw a bigger drip looking under the block from the back right side. There is a metal plate under the tubes and the leak is on the inside front of tha metal plate. I managed to glance at the fubes for No#1
and No# 2 pistons and there is no evidence of any leaks. Tha leads me to believe tha it may be the oil presure relief valve  bu I could no find it.

If I remove the metal under the tubes, would this affect my cooling?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Emilio
