Silas is right, I've never made a rebuild kit. Only the reinforcement plate. I'm out of stock right now, new inventory coming soon.

some pics from the swap meet...this was an awesome event, even on a slightly wet day there was a great turnout of swappers & buyers and it was a wonderful social event too...great to get caught up with old friends and meet some new ones! big thanks to stephan for organizing this and to surrey christian school for hosting it! looking forward to the next one allready....!

this rad little vw just turned 60 years old on tuesday! built on june 4th, and left the factory june 6th (60 years ago today)!

almost 19 years in our family, so many amazing memories made and so many more to come! and enjoying a little r&r in the garage! thanks beetle!

i checked with Concept 1, and got this reply. No we don't do align bores. Truthfully, we do it in house here, but only for engines we rebuild. The bearing quality and dimensions are such that each case has to be done to the exact set of bearings and crankshaft being used. We don't offer this service as it takes much longer than people would assume, and would not be profitable.  You should measure your case, check for cracks, corrosion, check lifter bore dimensions, and splay in the center to ensure it is actually a suitable case before considering getting it line bored. About 75% of the cases we see are beyond use for one reason or another.
