i plan on running a 1914 or a 2007 combo in a mag case.
my question is what do people generally have done to the cases to improve them?
have the lifter bores sleeved? and help on the subject would be great as i am pretty clueless on the whole issue

thanks russ

All I did to mine was put Case Savers in.

I had mine clearanced for stroker - saves doing it next build.
Full Flowed
Shuffle Pined
Opened for 94's
Case savers installed
And matched the two halves - to ensure they mate properly.

Check you don't need a line bore while your at it.

Presumeably you want an engine that will live a long life, not a grinade engine like some of the guys here have.  With that assumption you will not be using a cam that is very big, or springs that are really stiff.  You don't need to sleeve your lifter bores.
