Please post all your GCVWS Drag night photo's and times in this post so we can keep them all together!

What an awsome turn out tonight, We counted 56 VW's and Audis out tonight, there were a few others as well but we just counted the one run. Awsome!

My Fav race of the night, I took Melissa on the last pass of the night and told her to hang on. It was her first time down the track and first time with a helmet on. When we launched all I could hear was her laughing so I figured all was good, Then I kept hearing.....I can't see anything!! I can't see anything!! When I looked over at the end I couldn't help but laugh. When we launched the helmet pulled her head back and she was stuck looking at the headliner, as I looked over she was pulling her head back with both hands on the chin strap LOL!!!!

I showed up a little late and arrived right as the S/C class was running. I also couldn't believe the turn out! Good job guys! Lots of quick 10, 11, 12, and 13 second aircooled VW's, some 12, 13 second watercooleds/audi's and a HUGE number in the stock motor challange. I didn't think the S/C class was going to end! The cars kept coming!

Had a great time as always!

it's not that serious, imho. it looks totally unintentional and definatley directed at someone else. it looks like your boy was just coming around the corner of that white car, geoff didnt even know he was there (head down) and was caught in an awkward moment (i've caught him in many aswell

If you study the photo there seems to be a shadow being cast from just behind Geoffs car. This could be where said gesture was intended or Jordon's boy was talkin' smack and had it coming to him.

Hold up guys, my post and pic that my son took were not ment to be serious. We down loaded my sons Itouch and were checking out the pics he took of everyones cars and a few videos of the racing. Some of his pics are amazing. Funny how kids can just go nuts with a camera and end up with some very cool off angle pics. Anyways, we came across the pic of Geoffs car and didnt even notice it at first. The second time we looked we saw it and thought it was hilarious. My son took the pic at the perfect moment the Geoff was flipping someone off. I probably wouldnt have thought it was funny if I had taken it but when a six year old comes up with it, well maybe my sense of humour is off. Hence the LOL on my original attempt at posting the pic.
Anyways, it was not my intent to upset anyone, especialy Geoff, Ive known him for a long time and I know he would have never intentionly direct the finger at anyones kid and I am sure if he knew my son was there he bird wouldnt have come up. I am sorry this was taken the wrong way and I will think twice about posting further smartass posts.

I just sent Geoff a Personal apology. And by the way, my son never even noticed the finger in the pic and I deleted it from his I-touch. Not that it would have been the first one hes seen. I have deleted the pic from my photobiucket account so the link will no longer work. Again, sorry for the misunderstanding.

That's the best pic of the weekend!!! I was giving Alan the bird for getting me with my pants down, all in good humor of course. Jordan and I are good tight friends, no bad blood ever! I had such a good time this year, it was fantastic to see so many old friends and customers.... Thanks so much for coming to all our events!

Silas, I know you were just defending your friend and you dont know me from a hole in the ground and I respect that. When I saw your post, I thought "oh crap, if he wrote that, how many people thought the same thing and didnt bother to write anything?" I know lots of you dont know me that well and might not have know what context it was ment to be taken in. Hopefully that changes as I am trying to make it out to more events. I got to know some really cool people this weekend that were only names on a forum four days ago. Had an awsome weekend, glad to be part of a great community, sorry for all the drama.

Thanks Darren, he took about 100 pics and lots of them were just blurs but most of them were good and those were my favorites. As you can tell, he is a little partial to my car, correction, his future car

Jordan. My wife took some video of our race Fri. night. It's not much of a race. You see us start and you speed out of the frame as I continue to sputter down the track. That was my quickest pass of the night too. (22 something) I'll try and post it.

I had a great time at the DVKK Strip Show on Friday, the CIP breakfast on Saturday and of course the big GCVWS on Sunday!

Many thanks to Alan for the race photos...I was solo this weekend, so it was nice to have someone taking photos at the track!
