Woooo Hoooooo!
« on: March 02, 2004, 09:05:04 PM »
just got my new motor started and broken in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
besides a few wiring issues....( my fault) and a rather large oil leak on the oil filter bracket everything went perfect! motor sounds pissed off!
lol unfortunatly il have to wait till tommorow night to drive it :(
anyhoo, just thought id share my excitement with you guys!
also wanted to say thanks to geoff and jim (convinced me to build a 2275 instead of a 1915....)bruce tweddle rebuilt my idas and spent hours walking me through the buildup, darren k for setting my valve train up, and match porting some killer manis (and even fixing my screw ups..lol) also id like to thank the dvkk, cause without the days of burnouts out of wallys id never want to build this motor, also like to thank my fellow dglvk members for pushing me these last few weeks to get off my ass and get this done!!
annnd im done.
lol now i cross my fingers and hope my cam doesnt go flat!

Sometimes I get the feeling the whole world is against me, but deep down I know that's not true. Some smaller countries are neutral.
