If its silver its probably Dennis Deleon's which was a super clean car.

It isn't Dennis Deleon's car.  I believe he still has it and is restoring it.  Last I saw it in fresh paint with shaved body moulding.

It was Stephans car , I am not sure why he did not post that here. He just sent me an e-mail in repsonse to asking for pictures, He is now not selling because he got 15 emails in 15 minutes.. So I think you will see the car resurface for more money in a week

Airspeed is a very slow moving site with a MAXIMUM of maybe 20-30 different people on it each day.  Craigslist is more exposed to the general public and I will get more responses from a classified site over a forum.

I agree with you on that Stephan what I ment to say was I don't know why in your first post you did not say it was your car you just said it was not Dennis' car. I agree Craigslist is the way to sell locally.

well apparently he may have a deal to trade this car to someone else for a car in return, you may get to see the car tonight (if this trade does not happen).....wait how about tomorrow night?........wait saturday maybe better...hold on how about sat night? or sunday? he's booking appointments yet he may even change his mind again about selling. This is the same story people went through when he advertised his 62.

no, the 62 sold.  never took it off of the market.

No skin off of my back if you don't want to wait till I have time to show the car. If I decide to trade it what does it matter to you?  If the car that I see in the trade isn't what I want, then it will be sold to the first person with cash.

did I say anything about the 62 being tooken of the market? no, people who wanted to see that car got the same story and run around, as for the first person with cash, you could be the first in line but the 30th to be considered to look at it.

I got home from work today, called back everyone that had called me back in the afternoon or sent me their phone numbers regarding the Oval window.  Then, since I had time and wasn't busy with work, I arranged a schedule and people came to see the car.  

The same thing happened with the 62 ragtop.  It sold to the 3rd person who came by and who I had reached.

People were not given a run around at all.  I have sold many cars and you end up finding that there are always some complainers out there.  For example, with the 62 beetle I had a lot of phone numbers from people.  When I had time to book appointments to see the car, the people who answered their phones and could make it out sooner had first crack at it.  Some people ended up calling me back the next day or always stuck to emailing and then complained the next day that they didn't get to see the car before it was sold.  Well, if their answering machine is full and their home/cell/work phones are all off or unreachable, I'm not going to sit around for a few days waiting for everyone to check their messages and call back when the interest is still strong.

Anyways, this car is now Sold.
