1957 Ford F-100
A face only a mother could love :P
Just kidding, these can make some great vehicles with just a few mods.
This is one of builds Laurie is doing from start to finish. Plans are for a full air ride set up, Olds Rocket motor, turbo 350, Vintage Air, 20's and 18"s, custom bed and tail gate, Custom bumpers..etc

Here's a shot from the 1957 flyer..

Tear down!

The body is in fairly good shape but it's got it's fair share of rust. Lower doors, all four cab corners, some fender holes etc.
Here we just checked for wheel clearence for the air ride.

The chassis went out for blasting after we finished striping it. Laurie did a lot of mods on to it, New clip w/tubular control arms, boxed the frame, c notch for rear end, 4 link rear susp among other things.

Here you can see the start of the pass side c notch, as well the 9" is in place and has been narrowed.

Once the suspension was mocked up, all parts welded into place, motor mounts, cross members, brackets, etc it was off to Russ @ Francis Andrew Site Furnishings for some powder coating!

Time for some new parts! This is the fun stuff, rack & pinion, Flowmaster Exhaust.

Freshly coated exhaust, Headers, and exhaust custom built and modified by Laurie...

As always this is a very condensed version of what it took to make this happen.....
Here's a shot wayyyyyyyy into the body mods. The bed has had the floor raised, fenders tubbed, custom tail gate made, frenched tail lights and not shown in this pis is the new look above the front of the windsheild.
Lause built a new facia (almost like a visor) above the window. Very subtle but makes the truck look much better. You can see the difference in the first photo and later in the painted pic.

Air ride!

Rebuilt and ready for paint!

Deep Red!!

Ok i'm missing a lot of pic's, i'll add them as I go...big jump to Gerry and his trusty spray gun!
Gerry is a master at laying on the paint!

Stay tuned! More to come

Fresh out of the paint booth!
Here you can see the new visor above the window, very subtle but vastly improves the look of the truck.

Getting closer to assembly..

Fast forward...
Body and bed in place..

Rear shot, Here you can see the frenched Pontiac Tail lights (very close to orig) The custom made smooth tail gate, Custom bumper made from two Chevy II bumpers that blends into the body, stainless tail pipes. The Tonau cover is made from alum with metal frame that sits flush to the box.

Next is the front bumper, stock for that year but pulled flush and smoothed. Custom frenched 3 bar grill,H4 head lights.

20" Torque Thrust Wheels, the fronts were later changed to 18's

All the glass is in!

More to come!

Thats soo seriously badass!
If more power is better. Then too much is just enough.
Why do it once when you can do it thrice?

Looks Killer with those wheels!

a few more shots, just a few small interior jobs and it's done.

Below is a good shot of the custom made tail gate, Laurie did a great job of the back end, Chevy II bumper, custom tail pipes, tail gate and lights.
