So what do the guru's recommend for a 1960 splitty with a dropped bay beam with disc brakes
The little csp 170 buck bay conversion? for a plastic top and small billet adapter for later or just run a splitty master?
-
The split master is single circut, not great. A 67 bus master is dual circut but rare and $$$ Best bet use the late bus master with spacer from cip/ wolfgang int. Or if you need more stoping power a 944 master but then you need to "t" in a brake light switch.

Im not the guru you may be looking for, but I agree with Geoff.
I'm running the late bus master with spacer clean simple and cheap... (after you pay the $170 lol).
-
I'm sure steve has a bunch of late masters at the bus ranch, all ya need is that spacer dude!
-
Don't know what CIP or Busboys sells them for but this guy is selling some fairly cheap http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1002657

That spacer piece on the Samba looks to be about 3/4" thick. You could make that pretty quick. You or Les must have some aluminum laying around.
-
If your making one it's about an inch thick with a step in the middle for the boot to sit against. I would just buy one from Wolfgang they are cheap

Im just gonna make one from washers and jb weld..................its a bus it does not need to be safe!
