Tire Size

I run 195/60 on the front of my 74 super on a 15x5.5 rim, the front has been lowered with adjustable struts, the problem is the tires rub on the fenders a little more then I would like. will  135's fit on the rim? or is there a wider tire then that that will work while keeping close to the same height/profile as the 195/60? I like the way the bigger tire (195/60) fills the wheel well! suggestions anyone?

you can also find a 175/55/15 tire.  they are actually the same hieght as the 135, but provide a larger cement/tire contact surface.  you will also beable to handle better, and they will fill up the fender well better than 135s, but not as much as 195's.  they also won't rub :D
