All pedals 58 and newer will fit in all pans 58 and newer.

So i cant use a 57 and below at all bruce?

Nope.
Here's an oval window pedal assembly:

Note how far the hook end extends into the tunnel?  That's because the clutch tube is on the right side of the tunnel.

Now look at this pic of a 58 and later pedal assembly to work with the later tunnel that has the clutch tube on the left side of the tunnel:
