Shouldnt you get a car that needs some first???????

But really from all accounts I have heard the new M&H DOT's are kicking ass.

I think a lot depends size....My Hoosier's are the smallest you can get, (I think) and I have to run a 2\" wider fender to fit em under the car. But I love the look

All of the companies mentioned above are excellent.  Even Firestone makes great slicks.  It all depends on what size you are looking for, compound, etc..

Stephan- Phoenix are Firestones. When Firestone closed down (sold out) or whatever you want to call it these guys took the moulds and started making Phoenix slicks. there are no more Firestone race tires. Hoosier Daddy's right about the sizes as up untill the new M&H cheaters I don't think anyone but Phoenix made a narrow enough slick for a stock VW.wayne
