Title: 1600 to 1914
Post by: krammit on September 14, 2008, 10:13:20 PM
Could use some help!! Do I need to do anything to my stock tranny if I go from 1600cc to 1914cc? If so what would be some of the recommendations? My second part to this question would be, how do you know when your tranny is getting wore out? It doesn't slip out of gear or grind when changing gears. Is there something that I should be looking for? Thanks for any info!!

run the stock trans until it breaks & deal with it then!

I would at least put a super diff in the trans and either polish you stock axles or buy perf axles for strength if it is swing axle
