If everything goes to plan, I'm thinking it should be ready by June 21 2009 Farther's Day, first day of summer

.... Well it goes like this,.... back in January I got injured at work, so I was unable to do anything on the buggy. Here is some pics of my hand.

... The Dr took skin from the palm of my hand and sewed it to my finger... so now that I got more mobility with my hand, I can get back at working on the buggy. Here is some pics on what I have done.

... So that's all the pics I have ... I'm going to get the rest of my stuff from the chromer tomorrow ...

Well I hope there is a good story behind the injury.  Hopefully you get full use and feeling back in that finger.  If you need any extra help staying  on  schedule with the buggy build just ask.  :)

Well , today was a good day on the buggy, we put some gas in her, and we fired it up. Had to make some adjustments here and there but we got it. If everything goes to plan, the buggy should be ready for the Great Canadian bug show.

I finally got back working on the buggy so I decide to put some time in getting a good strong engine build.I went to AVR Imports and talk to Art Vic & Rob and decided to go with something that has a little HP and that is reliable.
The engine size is 1915 cc here is some pics of the build.

EMPI Bubble Top Engine case,94mm,10mm case studs
EMPI 4140 Chromoly Counter-Weighted Crankshaft 69mm 8 Dowel
EMPI 4140 Chromoly I-Beam Rods
EMPI 30mm Lightweight Racing Lifters
Engle W110 cam

3/4 reach 12mm Spark Plug with 40mm Intake 35.5 Exhaust Single Spring with a 3 way Valve Job

EMPI Super Capacity Oil Sump

Box of Goodies, Chromoly Push Rods,Empi 1.25 High-Ratio Rockers,Stainless Steel Windage Pushrod Tubes, Full Flow Oil Filter Pumps.

So now that the case is together with the Lightened Flywheel the 94mm pistons are ready to go on.
The Crankshaft ,Rods,Pistons Flywheel And the 5 1/2 LB Crankshaft Pulley are balanced.
I'll post more pics when the heads are on.

Went to AVR the other day to see how Art was doing on the 1915 and things are going quite well. The pistons and the heads are on plus the front pulley, generator and oil cooler. I took a few pics of the build.

Art thinks maybe by the end of February he will have it all ready to go.
