Why do it once when you can do it thrice?

keeping the t bars, and the front was done by the previous owner.  its just a lowered beam...not narrowed, and with the 135's in the front it doesn't rub

to narrow the beam you can either buy an airspeed 3\" narrow w/ custom shock towers, buy a cb performance 2\" narrowed beam, or narrow it yourself.

it depends if you run drop spindles, disk brakes and the type of wheels you run and their offset.

imho, there should be no modifications to the body of the car itself. get a beam that will fit your needs without having to use the hack, hammer & stuff method.

If your front end has never been hit, you can sqeeze a 4\" narrowed (3 7/8th easy) into the front without much swearing etc.

Or you could narrow it 5 and cut off the shock towers.

Or bag it...

ball joint or k&l ???

i dont think a 3 7/8\" narrowed beam will fit in a k&l front end without every expletive from eddie murphy's delirious and andrew dice clays movie been said.

i'm pretty sure 2\" is as far as you can go in a k&l front without hammering, cutting or fabbing custom shock towers.

i am unsure about the width of a ball joint front end.
