hey guys, thanks for the welcome!
i don;t have any pictures of my bug right now, but as soon as it's out of the shop i'll put some up.
I'm excited about about the Westcoast Showdown, my bug and i will be there!
I've been out of the VW scence for a bit, (i was living in vancouver and none of my friends understood my VW obsession, so i missed out on alot) but now that i'm back living in Langley, i have time to work on my car, go to shows etc.
so anyways, thanks for the info about who to talk to about a club

yep that's me!
how have you been?
i'm still so grateful to you for doing that so i could get rid of the ugly red bumpers that were on it! it still has the 4 bolt wheels but hopefully soon they'll be gone!

slammedbus- over the years i've grown some thick skin so, hopefully i can handle everyone here!

Welcome from across the line! I'm not all that new, but new enough that I haven't met to many people here. Hopefully we can all meet up at the showdown. I have some friends in Langley and Pit Meadows so you might see me driving my red 69 bug with Washington 1969 dealer plates.

i got the permit to bring it back from my mechanics shop, and decided to get the permit for a few days cause i've missed driving it.
it's ready to drive though.
i'm trying to decide if i want to try and get collectors plates or just insure it for the summer.
it passed aircare though. the people that were working the day i went were such idiots. it was like they'd never seen a bug before. 3 of them went looking for someone to test it cause they weren't sure what to do with an old car. going to aircare is such a pain in the ass!

Do or do not, there is no try.

SH__ or get off the pot.

Put or get of the green
.

Those are some of the things I like to say to those people.

WOW! I feel better now.

By the way, where do most of you get you flat four tested?
