What's the deal with the right front fender? that crease looks to uniform to be damage, but I've never seen one with a body line either?

I say keep the flat sided fender it's a 1 of a kind ! You couldn't curl by hand a fender like that if you tried.  What's the inside like?

Yea looks strange huh.......That damage would be caused pretty much one way only ...Mr. Farmer removes hub-cap puts large piece of plywood and pushes car sideways on the front or got pushed into a wall from the drivers side ( but with  no hub cap damage ..unlikely)... even just like a press..good thing the tire was on...SWEET  looking car though....

or matbe he got all drunked up and bounced it off his  tractor

the headliner is still mint!! except for under the rear window, it's a little sunburnt.  seats, door panels and carpets are all worse for wear.  I'l be replacing all that.

as for the fenders, they're all coming off and I'll bang the dents out, then their going right back on.  thats the extent of the bodywork for this car, except a cut polish and several coats of wax.  theres no rust anywhere.  pan is still shiny black under the battery even.  heater channels all still have perfect paint.

Dan's probably got a girlfriend now and you know how HE gets when he's all tied down. Next thing you know it'll be for sale cause they are trying to build a nest egg and restoring his car just gets in the way of walks in the park and good cuddle time  :P

Dan bought a place with his life partner Robbie. I'm  sure once the renovations are done to their master bedroom he will start work on the bug. :D
