Havent had much time the last week or so. I did manage to get the rear cowel started and will try and do a little more before Halloween (next week) It will be Nov5th before I can get back to it so I want to get as much as I can done this week.

After a long search I found a donor Superbeetle to cut the front cowel out of. ( I have sent many to the crusher but when you need one it seems you just cant find one)

This will be the start of the rear cowel behind the roof.

This shot shows the Super beetle front cowel resting in place as I try and find the best fit.

This shot shows it in it's first attempt, this was too much of a slope so off it came (many times)

Rear shot, spent a lot of time trying different things to make it look good. This was early on.

After cutting away the top of the 1/4 and getting a better position from left to right it is now in place.

And the last shot is the pass side now in place. Not a big update but this took a few nights to get it looking the way i wanted.
