what a beautifull day for a car show.

i hit the road early, drove through fog & mist with intermittent wipers for 1.5 hours, made it to XXXrootbeer and had a blast.

it was great to see & hang out with mike, simone, lanny, darren, mirko, chris, courtenay, tom, mark, que, annie, et al. the turnout was great, the location was pretty cool (talk about nostalgia, one could get lost in that diner looking at all the stuff on the walls), and the weather was phenominal.

i won a 10lb box of bacon in the raffle. mike politely pointed out that i would have trouble getting that across the border (\"do you have anything to declare, son?\") so i unfortunately had to decline the prize and settle for a XXXrootbeer t-shirt.

congrats to que, annie, and all the other folks that put together the show and handled the CFTC raffle. great people, great cause. kudos to all of you that were involved.

Looks like everyone had fun.
I'm almost certain (cause my wife does it once a month) you can bring meat back into Canada. It's the Americans that have a problem with meat or meat by-products entering their country. But I hope the shirt is just as nice.

Damn, that looked like fun, we're doin it next year now for sure.

As for the bacon it's going south that's the issue, Canada doesen't care what comes in, we already have mad cows here it's just the Americans that are denying it.

the shirt is an XL. way too big for my skinny ass frame . i'll probably just give it away or auction it off and donate the funds back to the CFTC.

truth be told, that american bacon could never measure up to our canadian standards eh,  so it's just aswell that i left it behind. ;)

HEY!!! ]:(

Just kidding. I was never much on American beer when I drank.
Baccon, I can take it or leave it. Doesn't matter whos it is. :P

Looked like a good time down there. I spent the day on Mt. Baker taking pictures and hiking. Not sure I would have trusted my bug going down there after my mouse problem. Everything is clean but it's not 100% :(
