Want Some Opinions
« on: January 21, 2006, 04:58:02 PM »
So I'm tired of draggin my Ansa muffler on the ground and bottoming it out everytime I hit the bloody driveway.
I can't decide what sort of exhaust system to go for.

some ideas.
Fatboy
quiet pack,
glass pack,
Stinger?

What do you think would look best with this vehicle?

If more power is better. Then too much is just enough.
Why do it once when you can do it thrice?

peashooters, or a tuckaway exhaust, but if your going to do that you need to go lower.

I'm all over going lower. We will see how it looks once I get my new tires on the beast and see how much lower I can go...

And I like your idea outkast

Not a narrowed beam fan.
Don't like the look plus my car is pretty low already but we will see.
If I could figure out how to take the dream bert that I made on bus selecta and moved it over here I would.

with those new tires and a narrowed beam you will never notice, 2 inches, just enough to clear the fenders

Yeah but I'm to lazy to pull the damn thing out.
Would you do it for me if I paid you in stamps or beer cans?

A friend of mine has a K10 Blazer on 40.5\" Swampers that would look pretty good on your car!  :mullet:

I'm a fan of stingers so that's what I think. I used to have one of those \"Empi Tuck-Away\" exhausts on a bug years ago. If you can get over the noise (it's louder than a baffled stinger) it's an ok system with a good price tag.

Then there's also the option of narrowing your beam, buying dropped spindles and hammering it right on the ground    . That would give you a little more clearance on the back maybe  :P
  DO IT! DO IT! Or pay me to do it  ;)  Lowering fixes everything!

I wish I could run dropped spindles but I can't with my disc brake kit...

Although it does sound tempting. The nice thing is once I get a header on it. Its a simple task of changing exhausts...

I'm thinking stinger!:P

I like my hideaway, the only problem is that you can't adjust you valves only check them with it on.

Peashooters!

It's inexpensive, you'll never drag, plus you can beat that phweem phweem sound.
