Here’s the info you have all been waiting for! Aug 10-12, The 27th Great Canadian VW Weekend. Drag racing on Friday night is back! Sat pancake breakfast at Jim Pattinson VW, Super Summer Classic at Open Road VW! The “Golden Ticket” give away will start soon! This will be our final year at Concord Pacific and this year we will be in the lot closer to BC place. Lots more details to follow! Spread the word.

We have many people working hard behind the scenes to make this the best year yet! Lots of new ideas and events that will be happening so be sure to follow this thread for all the coming info!

Where exactly is the entrance to the venue if it has changed? 

Will there be visitor off street parking as in past years?  Where will that be?   

Given that 1st ave is closed in part, what will be the best cross town route for those coming from the east?  Grandview/12th Ave to Cambie and then north to Pacific Bvd exit.

The lot to the west of Carrall street appears to be about the same size as the original location.  If you look at Google earth's pic, the long rows of greenery are all gone.  I think there should be space for spectator parking, however, it's up to the organizer whether there will be space allocated.

another awesome gcvws is in the books! its difficult to put into words what this show weekend means to me (and so many), and it's close to impossible to convey the gratitude i have to those that make it possible...i have so much love and appreciation for all involved...

thank you geoff, brian, jaga, dave, scott, bruce, alan, darren, cameron, shawn, hanawa, gavin and the dvkk for working so hard for so many months to make this happen! thanks to everyone else under the main tent for the additional support and help! thanks to all the volunteers! thanks to all the clubs that come together and work so hard to make every event on every day a success! thanks to all the sponsors for stepping up and supporting the scene! thanks to all the vendors and shops for coming out and displaying your cool stuff for all to see! thanks to all the vw folks that bring their rides out! thanks all the vw folks that dont bring their rides out but come to support the events! thanks to everyone for coming out to all the events and making every minute of every day of the gcvws weekend so much fun!!
