host hotel. everyone parks, checks in, eats, we have a few and start chilling out in the parking lot...





until...vroom-vroom-vroooooooooooooooom-BANG-

geoff & greg get rid of the evidence...



csi jaga is on the case checking for gsr (gear sludge residue)...



andrew laughs it off...he's a good sport...



yup...something is wrong...



we all contemplated a parking lot trans swap, but then figured it'd be easier to have a couple cold ones and reminisce about the good 'ole days instead.  :cool:

the big show...great turnout, spectacular people, and one of the most beautifull and scenic locations you could even imagine for a car show...

and just for s#!ts & giggles...after the vw show we went to the rock show...





and when we got back to the hotel we were surprised to see that there was a little hotrod show going on...







talked to a few of them in the morning. they were from cruise oregon, a group that gets together every year and sets out on a week long road trip in their classics...this year they were touring OR, WA & BC! pretty cool way to spend a vacation!!

overall, a wicked weekend on the island and a definate highlight of the summer!! if you havent checked out volksfest yet...do it...it's well worth it!!
