wtb- SB steering wheel
« on: May 20, 2012, 10:16:23 AM »
Looking for a steering wheel for my dad's 79 convertible. I need a stock wheel as he now has collector plates. I know during the rebuild I changed the steering shaft and can't remember which year the one I used came out of. If it helps, I had a wolfsburg steering wheel find already and the steering shaft diameter was too big for the steering wheel. Anyone know what year steering wheel I am looking for? If you have one that will work that is in really nice shape....... let me know!

Actually you need a wheel from a '73.

'71 and 72 had the older-style wheel with the metal horn ring.

71 is the older type.  72 is the new type.
