bruce & i were talking a bit about this in the ferry lineup on saturday morning...the europeans are just plain kicking ass when it comes to building these vintage gassers. they really have embraced the past and seem so passionate about it! i mean...seeing the pics from ebi 4 are outstanding. og tar babe, replica inch pincher, replica lightning bug, bakken built replica aronson cal-looker, dave rhoads og cal-looker, empi rail...it's like riding a time machine into the past...i love it!!

i agree its flippin awsome to see this kinda attention to the old, i sometimes wish i could fly over there to imagine what it could have been like, im super excited to see the schley bros complete their old gasser they did it once before and from what im seeing they are going in the right direction! as someone who for the last 8 years been serching for period correst to the early 70's parts i can totally see that its not like these guys drive to cip every friday!! kudos to em all, i saw this comming when i saw the vwtrends feature on the ol muppet racer! someones gotta build a gasser over here......
