Hi There,
I've got a 1972 orange weekender van for sale - $1000
It's got the sink and fridge, but no stove. None of appliances work. Fold-down bed and pop-top.
On a roadtrip to San Fran, we had problems on the way back. Had had a compression test done in the city, came back with even numbers on all four cylinders. On the highway to Sacramento started losing speed and power, had another compression test done, it's now got 75 on two cylinders and 125 on the others. Hypothesized that it's got a cracked head, but haven't had it looked at since we towed it home. Besides the engine trouble, the brakes need to be bled, the sliding door tends to fall off the roller if not closed carefully and there is rust issues under the drivers and passengers seats. I've crawled under the body, and it doesn't look like there's any rust under the floorboards, just in the front. She's a bit ugly, but I'm sure it would make a good cheap camper if someone could just fix the engine. She took us all the way to San Fran before having any trouble, so there's still some life left.
If interested in taking a look, message me.
