Looking for a split bus up to 8000
« on: November 17, 2010, 02:09:33 PM »
Looking for a good basic, driving, relatively complete split bus.
Nothing fancy, just a plain old combi.
No deluxes or any of that needed, but great if you have or know of one.
Can be a project, but not a rust bucket.
Basically just looking for a relatively complete, relatively low rust, somewhat undamaged decent running split to work on with my boys, while we drive it around.
Older is better but we're open to anything split.
Would also consider a 71 bay if nice.
No campers or panels please, and ideally it has all seats.
Will consider all conditions based on the price.
If cheap enough i'll take a non runner if it's basically rust free and otherwise complete. I'm open to options on what you have or know of.

Thanks

don't expect $8000 to buy you much especially if you want "rust free".  Rust free would start at $20 000 for a split.

Not rust free per say, i'm realistic about it, just not totally rotten......
Rocker rust or corner or battery tray fine, just not missing 3/4 of the floor and cross members......
