Racing Kelowna Street legals Saturday night
« on: August 27, 2010, 10:40:07 PM »
I will be racing in Kelowna at Thunder Mountain Saturday night, and sleeping over to race on Sunday too, incase any body wants to come watch.  racing starts 6:00 Saturday night.  Lowering the boost down to 15 psi, so no crazy performances, maybe a 7.4 - 7.6  1/8 mile, but most likely will be one of the fastest cars there.

Just got back, broke 1st gear today while bracket racing.  Got in 11 runs total from last night street legals to today bracket races.  All runs 7.501 to 7.88.  88 - 93 mph.  Only had 2 video's from the stand, no video person otherwise, new HD  incar camera ran out of memory I only had a 1 gig card with some room on it, so got in 7 runs recorded from in car camera before it shut down.  Black magic disk is seating in and I have been turning down the anti-shocker every run, and it still bogged the motor and had a small wheelie each time, well one wheelie was a good high one today.  I was the 3rd fastest car there at street legals last night, and should have got a trophy for the fastest import, but when I went up to put my time down close to the end of the night the next closest time was a 9.8 second car in imports......  I let that car get the trophy instead.

Next race is Sept 12 in Osoyoos, possibly will get the tranny fixed tomorrow.

I will get out to Calgary to race at some point. It will have to be next year when I can plan for it. Every weekend is booked into October right now for us.

Will have to get the tranny fixed for next weekend forsure as there is racing at Osoyoos again, and I definitly want to be there for that race.
