last weekend...

lori & i hit the island last weekend to do some end of summer camping aswell as visit some friends in merville and catch our favourite band mother mother on denman island.

on the way up island...parked by the beach in qualicum....were close to 30 mostly pre-1927 cars taking part in the island challenge (used to be called the malahat challenge). i cant remember the specific details, but clubs from nanaimo, victoria, port alberni & qualicum take turns hosting/organizing the event, it runs for 4 day (thurs-sun) on the old island highway, and there were a few cars from as far away as washington & texas....total rolling car show with some really cool stuff....

i cant seem to figure out how to take just the pic, but on one of the Ts is that a super rare set of T coil overs on the front??  I remember i once followed a cruise kinda like this all pre 29 cars it was amazingly slow but i just couldnt pass them cause it was rather cool! cool pics thats for sure!

Not totally sure, but I believe they were some sort of sway control.

oh yeah i could see how the sway thing would work cause they would be working against the other side all the time, cool stuff!
