Need Type 2 Hub Studs...
« on: December 04, 2005, 06:41:23 PM »
My baja rear end consists of late type 2 drum hubs..spacers..rotors..huge ass adaptor plates..

i need a stud thats the same OD as a stock type 2 hub stud..the stuff you find on the 5x112 Van rear drum hub..im sure 3/4\" longer would be good..but 1\" longer might be better....i have allot of things that need to be stacked up on these studs..and they are going to get beat to $hit so they need to be high quality material..i need 10 of them and nuts.

i know this aint the right place to post but i figured i might get a fast responce..wich i need :)

i also need 10 type 1 style studs..not sure who makes them but my baja came with a nice set of heavy duty black studs with goldish lug nuts..they were pressed into the front drums...if i could find those they would work out great in my adaptors..

Airspeed?

thanks
Cale

for my bus i had to buy aftermarket pressin studs with the same insert-diamter. Had to go to mopac and get some american threaded ones to fit. worked out alright it seems.

good luck... and wish i knew airspeed had em before

i got some from air speed...they LOOK close to the stock bus size spline...i need to get some actual #s though..
the stock bus stud has a finer spline then the empi peices...but they should work out..

the peices that air speed sells are the ticket..im 99% sure they will press into a stock bus hub without any drilling..
My hubs are at the machine shop right now..when they come back im gonna install the studs and i will let you know.
