I have a 1974 Dual port VW boxer engine sitting in my garage that i've had for about 5 years and never done anything with.
its missing a carb, plug wires, flywheel, fan belt and distributor cap & rotor, it looks to have been rebuilt at some point in time, but i don't know for sure. (it was given to me back when i had a 73 SB)
no visual oil leaks, the block is dry, doghouse oil cooler 75 amp alternator, more details available on request.
