I did the static timing and the engine idles great, and responds very well. However, My hearing is not that great. Now, I have read that it should be set differently and it does continue running when I shut down. The engine is not overheating.
NOW, This is how I understand that I should do t:
Take the pulley to TDC, Then move it counter-clockwise 10cm, Loose the nut holding the distributor and take the center cable from distributor cap and hold it 1/4\" from the left side of the carburetor, torn the distributor clock-wise and then turn back until blue spark is shot out of the cable into the side of the carburetor.
