Last night at the track, John Sayer (one of the head tech inspectors) called me aside to tell me the latest rules for dune buggies and asked me to spread the word.
All dune buggies must now run the NHRA spec 5 point roll bar, regardless of how slow it is.
All dune buggies must use a minimum of a 5 point harness (3\" wide belts)
All dune buggies must use arm restraints.
All drivers of dune buggies must use a helmet. If full face, it must have a shield. If open face you must wear goggles.
