bummer,

I hear a calling for me. But I gotta run my own automotive shop with my brother.

I thought that Electronics Diploma and BC auto tech licence would come in handy

Car electronics is they wave of the future. Today the Snap ON MODIS, Solus, MT2500 and Vantage seems to be the way to go in a \"general automotive repair shop\" I guess new techs would say \"whats a breakout box???\"

Car electronics is so odd and mysterious sometimes. Logic is somewhat lost sometimes. Hunt and hunt for the unknown even though you know how its suppose to work.

Jim your establishment would be a cool place to work. And just think I put an application about 1yr ago.  Now I got my own show.

People should jump for this opportunity!!

Edmonds Motors on Kingsway and 13th. Close to St thomas Moore highschool near New west.

I've partnered with my brother. I did my apprenticeship there.

Small old shop with alot of history. Apparently back in the early 70's it was originally a woodwork shop making desks and office equipement contracted by the Gov't, Corvette speedshop, Autobody shop, and back in the day it was one of the only japanese repair shops in town. Now its just a general repairs shop with alot of fleet contracts and alot of regular customers.

Makin' a living and busy as hell.

Sure good of you to post it here Jim.  I can remember many years ago a young guy by the name Greg talking about getting into an automotive apperticeship. I told him to go for it. Now he works with you, seems he did very well for him self .  Just wish I would've listened to the same advise people were giving me when I was young.  Anyway , very good opportunity for someone.

Alan , best of luck in your venture.
