Last Run Before Insurance Is Up
« on: December 23, 2004, 11:28:08 PM »
well seams i got another break. thats 3 now so i'm offically done.'THE WOKS' retired for the year.i had my car out at work this week ,as the body shop was slowing down for xmas it was a good time to get a few thing touched up. then i decided the weather looks like it will be nice the rest of the week  so i will leave it out there and drive it home thursday night. so realising its cold out i keep the car indoors to keep it warm. ran the car up to temp and heated the old nitrous tank up. i mean if you are going for one last run. drive it like you stole it!!.well i hit the turn lane at westminister and knight .purged the nos hit the data recorderd and flew into the evening fog. things were going great until i just shifted from 4th to 5th at 7500 rpm when i realised i just passed a cop who had someone pulled over. ooops!damb fog.so i keep my foot into it and felt like icabod krane trying to get to the other side of the bridge before the headless horseman got him. hoping the rcmp would not cross into vancouver.well i was now turning onto sw marine and feeling pretty good.when these red and blue lights pulled up beside me at the next intersection. giving me the signal to pull over i decided this was probably a good idea. as i got out of the car to meet my new friend. i could tell by the look on his face he was getting coal in his stocking this year. i quickly realised this is the same one who had stuck his head in my car window and given me a good tongue lashing and waring the year before , .i.d and registration please, yes sire i said.then he asked me to stand on the sidewalk and wait.i was wondering what the hell he was looking for and after 4-5 min of inspecting my car,i was wondering if he would remember the year before. he asked me to come around to the back of the car. do you have any idea that shooting a flame out from behind your car is illegal he said. i started to say something and he cut me off. insurance is up in 2 days . yes sire i said. are you going to disconnect and remove that spark plug from your exhaust ,he said. yes sire right away. do i know you he said. i don't think so, i said.he gave me a smile passed me my i.d and papers .nice paint job mr martin ,oh by the way merry christmass.
everyone have a great holiday!!and the best to yourselves and family!!

aircare,i  have a ace up my sleeve,i'm a lucky holder of a valid air care licence.so i have that going for me, which is nice.
.bruce i'm making up a trick little cataylst set-up which will light up very quickly ,which will also contain a 1 cylinder bleed off .so the measurement will be 3 cylinders through the cat  minus one.
also i used the LM1 while it was on the rollers and data loged it .looks like at 2300 rpm avg which is where it runs in 3rd on the rollers it measures 11.8 /1. bad area for cam overlap.if my pipe works it should be a easy bolt on pass tool.will bring the mule motor and test exhaust to work in the new year and test all 5 gasses to see how it works out.if its a go,everyone can use it :D

just remember, Aircare tests your car in second gear, unless you specifically request it not be done, then they start to wonder why?!
