i would like to know what is the best year for a d/p stock head i have just pulled off some heads from a 74 but there was another motor sitting beside it with the vw and audi symbol cast on it yes it was a type 1 no it wasnt fuel injected what up with that when did they merge i thought it was in the 80's. oh and should the numbers on the heads match one head says 88 on it the other one 91. i have plenty of other stock heads that i could throw on i just want the best one i figured a '74 head would be the best cuz its the newest design i think they went to F/I in '75
