well Matt came over early this morning in hopes of towing our car to the shop to get some work done. What i did not realize is that a towbar will not fit our narrowed beam(3\").
does anybody have a narrowed beam towbar for rent can you buy them or do you just have to modify an original one?
we are looking at next sunday to have this figured out and ready to tow hopefully
thanks for comming over Matt see you next weekend :)

All you have to do is modify one to fit.

we are literally just going down the street, pointblank had said we could use the trailer but Matt would have the thing all day so it would be easier to have a towbar for now.

Geoff just made a tow bar for a narrowed beam... Call him when he gets back
I saw it looks good, he was gonna use to tow \"Miss Piggy\" to the track...

Cheers
Shane

I need someone in Abby with a bit of land I could park a trailer on, anybody know anybody? thanks for the offer on the trailer Shane, I'm not sure my V6 would pull that monster though. We will have it all figured out for this Sunday for sure!

If you aren't going very far, you could loop one side around the control arm outside of the beam.  Darren did this about 10 years ago when his flywheel came off in Seattle.  Towed the car all the way home that way.  Not ideal, but works.
