wtb machine-o-matic roof rack

Does anyone have a machine-o-matic roof rack that will fit a 72 bay window bus (not a westy)?

I don't know much about these, but I believe I have what you are looking for.
They were in the back of my '70DC when I bought it, they say Machine-O-Matic on them and have a sticker from Douglas VW on the side. Don't have any pics, but its basically 2 long rails with long thin triangular brackets that mount to the bus roof at each end.

Hi Cerot,

It sounds like you have what I am looking for. Do you also have the clamps?

Thanks.

Hmm, I couldn't say I do or don't on that one. The back of this DC was stacked high with hundreds of odds and ends. If you have a pic of what the clamps look like or could describe them I could look. (There is literally hundreds of random clamps, fasteners, clips, latches etc.)

Can't see much there :(
Ill just pull all the random stuff out of the back and take a pic, if it's there it should be obvious.

The clamp is a small curved piece that is held in by two nuts and bolts at the bottom of the leg and attaches to the rain gutter. I have a set on my 68 double cab. When next at the office I can post a picture of the clamp if necessary.

I could not find anything that looked like it would help to hold the racks on :(
If still interested let me know, it doesnt look like it would be too difficult to fab up something to clip them on.

bump

Will also consider a Bay Window roof rack. I need something strong enough to properly secure a car topper aluminum boat.

Thanks.
