Still looking for her.
« on: March 11, 2011, 09:51:25 AM »
Been 10 years 3 months since I sold her.. Still looking.  68.. with 67 seats. Was off white in color and red interior. Stock sunroof. Had a fancy Panasonic tape deck last time I saw her.  Have VIN and all info. Last time she was aircared was 97. Not registered as salvage yet, so probably sitting in a backyard someplace.  :(

She had a little rot in the drivers door back then, the rest was solid. Pass rear fender was hit pretty good last time I saw her in '01.

Anyone seen her?

This is an incorrect assumption.  When a car gets scrapped out at a wrecking yard, they do not notify ICBC to change the title's status.
Same goes for if the car goes to another province or country.  It stays listed in ICBC's records.

What if you do a carfax search with the vin? They are north america wide arent they? Might help you narrow it down if its in another province or somewhere in the US.
Just a thought.

Carfax doesn't recognise the pre-81 VINs with less than 17 digits.
