NOS Como green Microbus middle seat

I hate to use the term NOS as this is not a part in an orig box or wraping but it's as close as they come. I got a call today to come look at a middle seat, The lady said it had been there since new! At first I was thinking to myself, yeah sure it's probably a bay window seat that's all ripped up but after talking with her I was quite excited to see it.

Her father bought the 1962 Microbus (she thinks thats the year) and when he arrived home with it removed the midle seat and stored it in the house under a blanket.
Well fourtynine years later she is cleaning out her parents home after both have passed away and found the seat. She has photos of her sitting on the seat as a child in the basement.

It saw daylight for the first time today when I picked it up!

It's in amazing shape! no tears or broken stiches just a fine layer of dust.

Now that you've installed it in your van, it's no longer NOS!

Build a nice base for it and move it into the spare bedroom so you can use it as furniture.

I saw this seat today... the seams have not been stretched at all... horsehair is PERFECT... Seriously, it has not even been sat in.
Unreal.

We need Geoff to come to the dark side.  Come on, let's find him a Splitty!  I have a matching como green rear seat (not in as nice shape, but it's pretty sick).
