WTB: Engine parts - case, heads, tin, etc
« on: February 25, 2011, 11:47:37 AM »
Hey all. Looking for some engine goodies: I'm part dutch (I hate admitting it!!) so I'm a cheap SOB and trying to save a few bucks  lol_hitting

Doghouse Shroud (with heater holes, flaps, etc) and all upper/lower tin. Good shape dual port german stuff. Doesn't have to look pretty, just as long as it's complete and straight. None of that chrome garbage that I already have!  >:( FOUND
"Performance" heads. Cut for 94's preferably but not required. 40x35.5's or 42x37's. Don't need to spend a million bucks on em just something for a decent street engine. FOUND
Quality (NOT empi) steel-steel straight-cuts (used ok)
AS41 case that can be, or already is bored for 94's (8mm studs iirc) If it needs machining that's fine.
Lightened 8-dowel flywheel
Performance rods - Stock length. H's or I's or WHY.

That's all I can think of for now.  :D
Let me know what ya got!
-Mike

A full blooded Dutchman wouldn't waste the $$$ on parts that give you nothing over the stock items.

OUCH! That hurts Bruce!  lol_hitting
I'm gonna go on a limb and say the rods are a waste of money right?
The straight-cuts I want for the "cool factor" that's it. I know they don't have any real positive attributes, I just love the obnoxious noise they make. After all, my car does emulate it's owner quite well (loud and obnoxious)  ;D

Scratch the rods off the list then. I have some stock ones I can use.  ;D
Thanks Bruce  ;)
