Anyone got a good king and link beetle beam?
« on: February 11, 2011, 12:05:15 PM »
Made the mistake of removing the needle bearings and putting urethane Bugpack bushings in my beam.....  Anyone wants a real practical example of what 'stiction' is is welcome to try to move it up and down.... just don't bend the bumper brackets like I did trying.

SO...  Looking for a good center section, or complete beam, or anywhere in between.  I don't mind if it needs to be cleaned up but it needs to have the original needle bearings/ micarta bushings in it in good shape so that it moves freely and smoothly.

It can be adjustable (as long as it can get up close to stock height) but stock is fine too.  Preferably not narrowed as it's going on a stock car and there's no need to spend the money or hassle setting up new narrowed tie rods springs etc.

Thanks!
