Cruise for next year
« on: September 19, 2010, 09:15:21 AM »
I met this couple at the GCVW, they told me about the museaum they have in coombs, I think this wouyld be an amazing weekend cruise..
Invading the Island 2011. send  me some dates and lets set it up... the more people the crazier it could be. We could even make it a cruise for a cause.. or we could spin off Q and make it Cruise for the cure iagree

roger that!

great idea shane! the ferries and a busy summer schedule are going to be the biggest hurdles...but it can be done!

that's a good idea. longer weekend on the island plus it would hopefully get more people over to the victoria show!!

This sounds like a hoot and a good goal for me to try and make. A little more motivation. When is the Victoria show?

When is the Victoria show?

this year it was july 10 & 11th and afaik they usually host it on the second weekend in july (sat & sun).

so....imo, the cruise to the museum in coombs would have to be on the friday so it doesnt conflict with the victoria show festivities.

like i said above...great excuse to take an extra day off work and make a long weekend out of it! ;)

those goats have been up there forever!! last time i was there (a few years ago) there was a pretty beat down little carnival park with some rickety rides too...the shape of the ferris wheel made the wooden roller coaster at the pne look brand new. ;D

fun little town tho!
