Nice!
What's it got for an engine?
You should check out Warwick's (fellow Spring Thaw organizer) '66 Mini project on the Classic Car Adventures forum.

Nice score. I love those Minis. My dad had three of them when I was a kid in Kellowna. We used to go skiing at Big White all the time with some familly friends, they would park their station wagon at the bottom of the hill and we would pile four adults and three kids in it with all the gear straped to the roof and fly by everyone stuck in the snow. Great little cars.

It has the original 998cc engine. The guy I bought it from is pretty sure that it has never been rebuilt. He is a long time Mini guy from London and had it shipped over after he moved here. He showed me some pictures of other restos that he had done. He recently moved to a new house and doesn't have any place to work on this one. It does have some rust but it's a driver for now. =)

Well, I would say you need to get an entry form for the Spring Thaw Classic Car Adventure into us! We've already maxed out the entries, but you'll be on the waiting list and there are *always* cancellations.

Blarneyman, A 1969 MIni Cooper S just got trailered to my shop. This thing is beutiful and is sporting a nicely done motor that was dynoed at 105 wheel horse back when it was restored 5 years ago. I now have the task of getting this thing though aircare. You are welcome to come by and have a look at it. It should be here all next week as we are using it as a bit of a filler job. Let me know and Ill shoot you our adress.
