whoohoo, you got a reply back....I didn't.....Nice and local too, well for the lowermainland guys anyway.

I have found out recently  Esso XD3 0-40w full synthetic, 100% PAO base,  has lots of zinc and good stuff in it , and it is at Walmart to boot, $22.00 for 4 litres.. Guys doing oil tests have over 1700 ppm zinc in it.  This will work in a pinch too

Here is a quote from my other post on Brad Penn oil from me buying it off of e-bay and getting it shipped to Sicamous including the $86.00 brokerage from UPS.

Hey Kev,  No such thing as 100% PAO. The seals would shrink and  you'd get a big puddle of oil if that was the case. Seal swell modifiers will be required to combat the natural shrinking characteristics of PAO.  I'd say maybe a good dose of PAO in Esso's oil but no where near 100%.  

If you can get brad penns oil I'd say use it !!! since alot of guys are testing it with good results theres no reason why not to use it.

I'll be using Ester based synthetic this year by a company called Blu Lubricants. My friend developed his own line of boutique oil company.  I wont preach how good it is because all I know is that its high quality ester that is slippery    I know my becker tool steel lifters careless what oill is used. Maybe I'll even use recycled semi synthetic oil from Lordco autoparts LOL!!!
