 We here the same thing from the Californians ;)

Yah, I'm a yank, but I'm in Canada a lot and my oldest daughter is a student in Abby and a dancer in Burnaby. So that kind of makes me an honorary Canadian....... Maybe.......   some help please   maybe not :(

Enjoy your new location! There are a couple really nice car shows around here and some good people.

tons of local hot-rod cruise ins during the summer (acvw friendly), drag racing in mission, westcoast showdown (vw show in june i think) and the great canadian (vw show in august). lots of vw stuff happens just south of the border in the seattle area too!

there is also an acvw shop out there (cant remeber the name off hand...does restos & sells parts) and lots of sweet local rides will start to show up on the streets once the weather gets better.

welcome to bc & the asf!!!!! B)

street legal drag racing is almost every friday night. 4 classes...outlaw, domestic, sport compact (import) & bikes. so you get to watch the tooners talk on their cell phones while racing and driving into the sand trap at the end of the 1/4, check out some nasty american iron, and watch the acvws eat whatever is in their way. during the great canadian vw show weekend the vws get a lane to themselves and there is some great head to head action.

there are also special events....supershifters, promods, alky's & nitros, vintage drags, etc.

for info check out...

Isn't it pronounced ABOOTS when you're an Ontario native? ;)
