Glass Technology?
« on: December 05, 2006, 07:57:18 AM »
I know that windshield chips can be repaired. But I am not sure if the glass companies can fix windshields that are cracked from top to bottom. Is that technology available?

It may be faster and cheaper than trying to find an original windshield for my 58 bug?

Thanks.

Buy a brand new one and etch the old markings into it . I'm sure someone on this sight has had it done. Trying to find a used window thats in good shape for a 58 beetle might be hard to do.
