Well here is a pic of the 58 ragtop that I worked on all summer. It is almost ready for paint. I am going to paint it brown with a tan ragtop and silver brms. I welded in new heater channels, a new front clip, new floor pans, new rear quarters, new front inner quarters, new floor rockers and a new dash seeing as the old one had been cut out and cal looked.I also had to mess around with the ragtop seeing as it was welded in at the pinch welds which I totally disagree with. Because the driprails have to be drilled out and welded back up as well as straightened out . It looks much better to cut a bloody whole in the roof and not mess with the rails. I have two ragtops and I can tell the difference. Here are some pics. There were only two bolts holding the pan on. I worked hard on this car to the point where my woman thought she was single. And I was just in the garage! Project Kraut Kan to be done for spring No sweat. The pics aren't in any order or anything but ii does give you an idea of what I went through.
