Here is a link to some 50's and 60's pic's from some Canadian drag strips. Winipeg seems to the one most are taken at. Non VW but very cool!

Jim grant is still doing alright he just started doing bonniville his first try got him just a few mph of off getting a world record in some flathead rodster class. Not bad for a * canadian*.

If you don't get the highlight the canadian was the car name for Jim grant and still is
